The name Online Bible was chosen in 1987, long before there was a world
wide web. But early since the introduction of the web (1995) we started to distribute our software
and downloads free of charge.

Version 3.0 This is the last Non-Unicode version. Never install this version
with a cd or dvd older than 2006.
This is the last edition for Windows 98. There are no plans
to update this version. We dropped the support of Windows 98.
This English version cannot be used in combination with the Dutch or German
subscription system. Dutch and German users are recommended to use the
version 2.95 in Dutch or German.
